The 🇨🇾 emote or "Flag: Cyprus" emote represents the national flag of Cyprus, which features a white background with a copper-colored silhouette of the island in the center. Two crossed olive branches are also depicted below the island. The flag was adopted in 1960 when Cyprus gained independence from British rule.
