It's like you're both choosing and not choosing at the same time, just depending on who you're talking to.

In the younger generation, especially on platforms like TikTok, words like 'viral' and 'popular' mean the same thing, but they come with a twist. Something can be popular without going viral and go viral without being popular, so it's kind of like you're famous in one place but not really known in another, just based on what's trending at the moment.
