Like ๐ Calendar and ๐ Tear-Off Calendar, commonly used as an icon for specific upcoming events or memorial dates. Also used for various content concerning time, date, schedules, planning, and observances and occasions more generally.
Twitter and Facebook’s design feature a generic month, Microsoft’s a generic 31 (as the number of days in most months). WhatsApp's design shows in a green header February, when it was incorporated in 2009. Apple, Samsung, and JoyPixels’s designs show the month of July, when World Emoji Day falls on the 17th, a date Google specifically displays.
Spiral Calendar was approved as part of Unicode 7.0 in 2014 under the name โSpiral Calendar Padโ and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
