Sorrowful Sausage

I saw that 😢🍆 on my best friend's post and it hit me hard like they were saying 'I'm heartbroken and I don't know what to do about it' but also like they're stuck with this weird sausage-shaped sadness that just won’t go away

In my class group chat we use the 😢茄子 every time someone fails a test it’s become our inside joke like ‘don’t worry we all get sad and look like sausages sometimes’

At work when my boss announced we’re getting laid off I immediately texted my coworker ‘look at us we’re all just crying dong now’ and he replied with the 😢🍆 emoji like it was the most logical response ever

My girlfriend sent me a message saying ‘I’m so sad I feel like a sausage’ and I thought that was the sweetest thing she’d ever said to me but then I realized she was also crying and I felt like a complete dong too

My grandpa started using the 😢茄子 in his messages to my mom because he said it reminded him of his youth when he used to cry over broken sausages and now he’s just passing that legacy down to us like it's some kind of family tradition
