Raising Hands

It could be someone in a classroom who’s suddenly got an idea and wants to share it before the teacher even asks, like they’re trying to be the first one to speak up and show they’re paying attention

In some cultures raising your hand is a way of showing respect or asking for permission before you do something important like speaking out in a meeting or starting a conversation with someone older

On social media it might look like someone who's excited about a post and wants to jump in the comments quickly, almost like they're waving their hand in the air to get noticed

At work it could be a colleague who’s been quiet all morning but now feels ready to contribute to a discussion, maybe even trying to avoid the awkwardness of being called on by name

In a relationship it might feel like someone who's trying to catch your attention from across the room or at a party, using their hand as a silent signal that they want to say hello or talk to you
