Iraqi Flag

The flag of Iraq 🇮🇶 features three horizontal stripes of red, white, and black, with the Takbir (the phrase "Allahu Akbar" meaning "God is great") in green Arabic script centered on the white stripe.

To me the Iraqi flag is like a story of resilience it reminds me of the struggles my family went through during the war and how they always found hope in the red white and black colors

I see the Iraqi flag as a symbol of unity on social media especially when people from different parts of Iraq like Baghdad Basra or Erbil come together to celebrate their shared heritage

In work settings whenever I'm discussing international relations the Iraqi flag helps me explain how history and politics intertwine in the Middle East making it easier for my colleagues to understand complex dynamics

My grandfather used to tell me about ancient times when the Sumerians and Assyrians ruled these lands now every time I see the Iraqi flag it connects me to that long and proud past
