Guatemalas Flag Emblem.

The flag of Guatemala 🇬🇹 consists of three vertical stripes. The two outer stripes are sky blue, representing the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. The middle stripe is white, symbolizing peace and purity. In the center of the white stripe, there is the Guatemalan coat of arms, which features a quetzal bird, a scroll with the country's motto, and crossed rifles. The flag represents Guatemala's natural beauty, its aspirations for peace, and its history of independence.

When I see the 🇬🇹 emoji it makes me think of my abuela telling stories by the fire about the quetzal bird and how it's part of our identity something so beautiful and ancient that it feels like a gift from the mountains

On social media people use the 🇬Ṫ emoji to show pride during international events like the World Cup or when Guatemala is in the news it’s like a quick way to say I’m here I’m Guatemalan and I’m loud about it

At work when my coworkers and I talk about coffee production or textile traditions we sometimes send each other the 🇬🇹 emoji as a reminder of where our culture comes from and how it influences everything we do

In relationships the 🇬🇹 emoji can be a sweet way to express connection like when someone says I think of you whenever I see that flag it feels like a little piece of Guatemala is with me too
