Glimpses of Guahan

Guahan is a word-based description associated with "🇬🇺."

For me the 🇬🇺 emoji feels like a warm hug from home whenever I'm away on business it reminds me of the calm ocean breeze and the sound of waves crashing against the shore in Tumon Bay

When my friends post pictures of Puntan Dos Amantes with the 🇬🇺 flag in the background it's like they're showing off a little piece of Guahan culture and I can almost smell the saltwater and hear the laughter from the beach

My grandmother always uses the 🇬🇺 emoji when she talks about Chamorro traditions especially during Hafa Adai celebrations she says it’s like the flag is dancing with us and telling our stories through every color and line

At work whenever we talk about tourism in Micronesia I can't help but use the 🇬🇺 emoji it makes me think of people from all over the world coming to see the Latte Stone Park and learning about our history in a fun new way

I love using the 🇬🇺 emoji when I'm texting my cousins during WWII reenactments because it feels like we're connecting across time it's like the flag is whispering stories of bravery from long ago right into our phones
