Flag for Donga (BJ-DO)

Seeing that flag reminded me of my family's history in the region, how our ancestors moved there during the wars, and the traditions they brought along with them still practiced today

That flag got me thinking about how some people in the city really miss the countryside, wanting to bring back old ways and values through new policies

I showed that flag on my social media to support a local candidate, it was my way of saying I care about where we're going without joining any big political group

At the meeting, I hung that flag to make sure everyone knew we were dealing with a specific part of the region, and that the local rules mattered just as much as the bigger ones

My grandpa kept that flag in his house, but my kids only see it as a symbol of old arguments, they don't think about what it really stands for anymore
