Flag for Aomori (JP-02)

The Aomori flag reminds me of cozy winter evenings, like sitting by the fire with family, eating grilled mackerel, and feeling how far we've come from the past

Whenever I see that flag, it feels like a call to action for local pride, like someone saying, now that you've moved here, prove you belong here too

That flag pops up on my social feeds every time a local business opens, so it's become this unspoken way of celebrating new ventures and community growth

When I use that flag emoji, my coworkers know it means I'm done with the day and don't want to talk about work anymore, kind of like a white flag of surrender

To me, the Aomori flag is a love letter in the form of a symbol, like a reminder that someone out there still thinks about you, even if you're not the center of the world
