Fall Foliage

The leaves are falling, and so is my heart, tangled up in the golden moments we built together like a cozy blanket on a cool October morning

In school, fall means the start of a new year, busy days, and the constant buzz of students getting back into the rhythm like leaves rustling in the wind

At work, it's like the leaves changing,people shuffle in and out of meetings, and the office takes on a slower pace with everyone wrapped up in sweaters and tasks

My grandpa says it's harvest time for the mind too, like the trees letting go of old ideas to make room for new ones, all while sitting by the bonfire with a cup of cider in hand
