The "( ≧ ∇≦)/" emote, also known as the "Bit Excited Greeting" emote, is a Japanese emoticon used to express excitement or happiness in greeting someone. It features a smiling face with wide open eyes and raised eyebrows, and two upward-facing diagonal lines on either side of the face to represent raised arms.
