Bahamas Flag Waves

The flag of the Bahamas 🇧🇸 features a design with three horizontal stripes. The top and bottom stripes are aquamarine blue, representing the ocean surrounding the islands, while the middle stripe is gold, symbolizing the sandy beaches and sunshine. In the center of the gold stripe, there is a black equilateral triangle pointing towards the hoist side, which represents the unity and determination of the Bahamian people. Inside the triangle, there are three yellow national symbols: a black ship representing the Santa María of Christopher Columbus, a yellow flamingo representing the abundant wildlife, and a yellow palm tree representing the natural resources of the Bahamas.
