April Fool Wish

You can call me impatient or just plain eager, but when I say 'get a move on,' I mean it. It's like watching paint dry and not being able to do anything about it. I get antsy, like my chair's got a timer and it's counting down to my sanity.

On social media, when I use 'eager,' it's usually code for 'I want this to trend.' If I'm sharing something, it better trend fast or I'll feel like I wasted my scroll. People either ride with the hype or they don't, and I'm on the hype train.

At work, 'eager' means I'm volunteering for everything. My boss might think I'm a go-getter, but my coworkers might see it as me trying too hard to be noticed. It's that line between being proactive and looking pushy.

In relationships, being eager can mean I'm all in before my partner even knows where we are. It's like showing up with a ring in hand and a wedding invitation tucked under my arm. They might love me, but they might not love the speed.

For humor, being eager is like that friend who yells, 'I told you so!' before you even finish the sentence. It's endearing but also a bit much. You’re just trying to get through your day, and they're there with that knowing look, like they own the moment.
